Call for Art – Stevens Square Center for the Arts Members’ Show
Greetings to all current and future SSCA members!
This is the time of year to take full advantage of your membership and submit to the Annual Members’ Show! This year we are celebrating six years of Stevens Square Center for the Arts.
To refresh your memory, the Members’ Show is an opportunity for you to show off your best; it’s your choice! You can submit up to 5 images, any subject, any medium. Works will be selected based on available space as well as creating a cohesive exhibit. Submit images to the office, by mail, or via the SSCA website. To submit using the SSCA website, send jpegs only, 500 kb or less. If you want your art to be considered for the postcard and publicity, send one high-resolution image (300 dpi or higher, between 300-700 kb and indicate that you are submitting it for promotions). Include with your submission an artist’s statement, titles of works, medium and sizes.
Deadline for submissions is noon, Tuesday Oct 13th. As always, the exhibition fee for members is $15. Exhibition runs from November 14th – December 6th.
If you are not a member at this time and would like to join SSCA and participate in this show, the cost for one year is $40. If you join now, your membership will be last 14 months – until January of 2011!
