Myths, tales, lore and legends have been part of mankind ever since we tried to make sense of the cosmos, the world around us, and our inner selves. From place-to-place, and from era-to-era, the names of the characters change; the stories remain the same.
Stevens Square Center for the Arts explores this domain of the collective unconscious with images that evoke a sense of mystery, fantasy, and surrealism. Nearly 20 artists tell tales of myths and folklore through paintings, photographs, drawings and sculpture.
